The Obesity Epidemic

Welcome to our new website where we will be explaining who is responsible for the obesity epidemic in the United States. Obesity used to be fourteen percent or lower of a state’s population in America during nineteen ninety. Now since two thousand and ten, the amount of obese people per state ranges from twenty one percent to thirty one percent(CDC). This kind of problem does not merely happen over night.  There has to be a group or several groups of people to blame for causing this health issue to dramatically rise. We blame our parents for buying us unhealthy snacks and the food industry for advertising, but in reality it is our own fault.
